Default retreat weekend - down on the farm

Hi girls - TL and Chasezzz knew I was at a retreat last weekend in February - that was the reason I didn't mail until Monday the 27th; a friend asked me to bring along the project I made for Chasezzz for sew and tell at the retreat. I got my inspiration for her quilt from Lori Holts - Vintage Farm Girl book. The below is my project "Down on the Farm" that I worked on all weekend at the retreat. It's ready to go to the quilters now.

dabbler312, what an awesome quilt.n Is Down on the Farm the name of the pattern? It is adorable.

Well, I pulled not one but two packages from the mailbox today. I was surprised! Here is the wonderful mini from
oksewglad. I love it. The apple trees gave me a bit of a happy meltdown and the snowy farm will be a nice memory to enjoy. An envelope filled with treasure.

The other front

A flying geese book mark which will get used a lot ( one of my favorite poems)

A poem from oksewglad with little scissors. Marvelous. (a new favorite)

I am gobsmacked!

Thank u ,
Well about my avatar, the tiny spool and the display, I think the stories of how thread being the binding that holds so many memories together, with the, tiny display, it reminds of of a movie I watched with the little one, named Tinkerbell and the Neverbee, and when shes realizing that even as tiny as she is , her tinkering, does make beautiful things, and also the little girl has a music box, and the even as tiny as the schene is its complete in showing the feelings of what the creator wants u to see, and my love for quilting and what u can create with quilting, from the very tiny to the big, and some of the most interesting, and beautifulist, are the little ones, hope I answered the question, if not I can have more,

what beautiful minis - I love the rolling hills and with the church in the dale and the apple trees.
What a great idea for book markers - I never think of them anymore after I started using a Kindle to read with - sigh.
