Default Oak leaf quilt for soldier

Ten years ago last month my best friend Helen, passed away from cancer. Her two daughters gave one of the groups she belonged to her stash. I was lucky enough to be gifted her Phaff machine. Recently was going through a container of batiks and on the bottom were some oak leaves ironed onto fusible and some just cut. So I decided to make this 12 blocks QAYG quilt with echo around each leaf. In the borders are oak leaves half the size. There are still some batiks left but most of the other fabric has been used.
