Like any metal bobbins made today, quality can be iffy, it's best to buy from a good place that stands behind or tests their bobbins. BTW, these are L bobbins, same as many industrial and rotary machines use, so standard L bobbins will often be cheaper than buying Juki branded bobbins.

I have had a Juki machine about 11 years. I sew almost everyday. I use Juki bobbins and the Babylock Jane use the same feet, bobbins and needles. Never serviced either one. I keep them clean and oiled. Both machines are wonderful and not too pricey.

These machines take L bobbins which are available from lots of different places (Superior Threads has pre-wounds). I ended up buying Bobbins from the local Phaff dealer as her mid arm machine used the same bobbins and there were no local Juki dealers.
