Default My Smallest Yet!!

This was my entry into the Paducah AQS Spring Show. It made it into the show along with 24 other miniature quilts, but no ribbons for me. Back to the drawing board. I've been going to the show every day this week to gaze in awe at the beautiful quilts and prowl through the vendors to see what is new. I absolutely love to see the creativity and stamina that it must take to make most of these quilts. I will try to get some pictures today or tomorrow to post for all of you to see. The crowds have been pretty intense and makes it difficult to get good pictures. Tomorrow should thin out a bit. My little quilt was made using the Courthouse Steps log cabin block and a pattern for a larger version called Fun and Done by Mary Etherington at Country Threads. It has 1256 1/8" pieces in it and measures 15" x 18." It was great fun to make and even more fun to finish.

I love it! It looks beautiful! It must have been a bit difficult to keep all those teenie pieces together correctly.

You did a beautiful job and it must take alot of patience to cut and sew such small pieces. You really deserve a ribbon in my opinion.
