It's the first thing that popped into my head when I registered. I wish now I would've picked something else, but that's the way it goes.

I chose my board name because I was born and raised in New Zealand. Now that I am here in America the first thing everyone notices about me is my accent, even on the phone, so it's become what people first associate me with: the girl with the accent! Since I am known for it, I just kind of thought NZquilter would fit me. Fun reading how everyone came up with their names!

There used to be a website that asked you to enter your first name, and it generated a fake English title. My fake English title came up "Lady Madame Kelly of Puddleston St. Droop" and the "madamekelly" part stuck because it made me smile. I am madamekely all over the 'net.

My screen name honors a Sioux Medicine man I met in my travels. He left to go on his journey to his ancestors a long time ago.

Boston was my capital when I was growing up. I have always liked that word. To my ears it sounds classy. 1954 is the year I was born. However I was born 39 miles south of the Capital.

My board name JuneBillie is a result of my mother's first name June, and my mother in laws first name Billie. I love them both so much, and thought it sounded pretty together, plus to honor them. My mother sewed and quilted from her teen days, and my mother in law did sewing, and lots of crafts. I miss them both. I love this topic. It has been so much fun reading how everyone came up with their board names even if it's your regular name.

I moved to Arizona several years ago so now my 'stitching' is done in the land of cactus!
