Kwyltaholic, I am not real familiar with the DP9 block but if it would be like the one on flickr at the link above I don't see why it wouldn't work. I will have judith1005 take a look at the link to see what she thinks and maybe some of the other ladies on the thread will comment too, they all have been quilting and making blocks longer than me, I am at about 3 years, some of the other ladies have been at it for 20+ years.

Ladies please feel free to provide assistance and comments for Kwyltaholic.

I'm sure this would be an acceptable block as long as it is within the size limitation (12.5"). And, all 4 quarters are sewn together to make one block. I personally would be fine with it. Is that alright with the rest of you swappers?

What a great group of participants! It's going to be a beautiful quilt! Glad to be sewing along with you. Making blocks is one of my favorite things!

I enjoy combining applique with piecing. I worked on these yesterday. Great way to hide from the heat outside!

Kristi, I love your candy cane blocks! I'm working on both Boom groups, but gosh, you make me want to do this one too. Beautiful blocks. Four ladies are going to be very happy.
