Yep, done on my domestic Juki TL2010Q. I simply drew a small circle in the centre of the quilt and then folded/rolled each side up on itself, leaving just the centre 12" or so, clamping the sides with a bulldog clip. I then simply used the walking foot to stitch around the circle then arced up and continued spiralling around rolling out the sides as needed and re-clamping. The stitch length in the small circle and spiral were reduced, and I lengthened them once the spiral got larger and smoother. I've laid it flat to try to get some better pics...this is the best I could do. Such a large, tight spiral did leave me with some waving of the edges at the end but for a couch quilt, meh.....that's okay!

The spiral quilting looks fabulous on your quilt. How far apart did you set your guide between quilting rows?

Oh, I can't even begin to imagine going around and around. Did a horizontal back and forth ONCE. The end is a wonderful thing.

Thanks for the up close picture of the spiral quilting. You have inspired me to try this some time - I love the finished look.

Wow! Great job on your quilting. You have incredible patience. I have only managed a pillow sized quilt with circle quilting.

Absolutely! ROFL!

No Patti, it's not hard at all, just very tedious.
