What machine is this really?
I had bought a Viking from a yard sale and for the life of me I cannot find any information on the type I have I've tried everything I can think of. Viking model 525 - serial 981. Please help me it's driving me nuts

Hi, have you searched images for "vintage viking sewing machine" and found anything that looks similar? A picture might help, besides we like seeing pictures.
Evidently there might be some machines that have "Viking" on them that aren't made in Sweden. Besides Japan by way of Canada, as mentioned at https://sewing.patternreview.com/Sew...ns/topic/24474 , from my understanding some could be from South Africa.
