Default Help! I need more fabric.

How do I look for fabric I need more of? I have tried to find it but now I can't remember the brand or name. Hopefully if i see it, I will recognize it. I think it is Moda. It is deep red, somewhat tonal but not "grunge." Don't know how to post a picture. TIA

I think PB has a "suede" line, that might be it?

Do you remember if you bought it online? Did you keep the invoice?
If you buy fabric from your local quilt shop, try asking them.

Well, I ordered something I hope is it! Got it from Etsy. I have never ordered from there before so I hope it will work.
Thanks for your help friends.

Yes, if the Etsy fabric is not what you are looking for, I would start with trying to remember where you got it, and track it down from there.
One thing I like about M*is that they keep track of your purchases, so if you have to order more, you can see what the name and maker is.

That's why I save my receipts. The receipts from on-line shops have the fabric name and number.

Some people can search for fabric using a photo. I've never quite grasped how that is done. If you could get help taking and posting a photo, maybe someone could help you search for it that way.

Whenever I use yardage I tuck a piece of selvage into it so I remember what brand it is.

All are good tips. I never save the invoices from when I order something. But saving a small 3 x 5 inch scrap of fabric or the salvage and putting it with the pattern I'm using would be do-able. Something I must remember to try to do.
