what binding?

I hope you don't mind, I would like to use your fun tractor quilt as an idea for a little boy at church! He is about 5 months younger than my 4 year old granddaughter, and he LOVES tractors. Not barns, chickens or cows, but Tractors! Your quilt is perfect. Personally, I will probably use the plaid for binding, just because it carries all the colors in the top! I imagine I'd better make it sturdy, I think he will use it until college!

My first choice would be the blue - but you said you don't have enough to use it for the binding.
(What was it, by the way?I have a VIP blender that looks similar to that)
I think I would avoid using the yellow - not because it would get grubby looking sooner than a darker color, but because it would detract from the center.
