Sewing Fabric Christmas Post cards this weekend for my Family, friends, and co workers. Gathering Holiday Fabrics, and Fabrics with words. Some will have mixed media, like paper words, charms and Buttons. Fabric Post Cards are the only project I am working on for the next couple of weeks. So much Fun.

oh these cards are great - again - ! the turkey would certainly get a pardon from me - he looks like he's just seen the roasting pan!
cuppy that is a great idea, making Christmas ones for the holidays...solves problems such as - what to get for the person who has everything, not to mention, great for the budget while showing the love.
cookie, my idea was to combine letters of the alphabet with a number (0-9) so by the end all the numbers and the letters would be represented...
e.g. January: A, B, 0 (zero); February: C, D, 1; March: E, F, 2; etc. in November and December there would be no numbers but 3 letters to finish the alphabet out. (26 letters, 2 ea in the first 10 months then 3 ea for the last 2 months). Or the letters and numbers could be mixed up and not in order (Jan: D K 8, etc.) One wouldn't have to spell out the letter or number necessarily, one could just picture it (Jan: astronaut, bird, and "amount" - one of something.)
Just an idea and I guess I was thinking the 12 cards could be used for a kid's game or book or wall-hanging if put together with the others.
I'm sending my PC out tomorrow, partner, never fear, I made the mistake of putting it on my design wall when finished so it became part of the background!

That turkey rocks with its fringed wings -
and the Frenchy toast - how absolutely original (as well as that sweater)
And Give Thanks is so perfectly done. Love the fabric on it.
Great Post Cards everyone.

Love all the postcards so far!
I received this one from K-roll last night, for King Tut Day. The photo doesn't do it justice. The fabric is really sparkly, and she added extra batting behind the face so it poofs up. I love it Egypt is on my bucket list. I love the Egyptian section of museums, and can't wait to get there someday.
