Default Replacement plug for a Singer 99?

I'm hoping someone will know the answer. I just purchased a 99 crinkle finish dated 1941. I've been enjoying this little machine...although it needs some tension adjustments. I pulled the plug out of the outlet, and one of the prongs was left behind in the outlet. I would like to replace just the plug, if possible. I stopped at Home Depot on my way home today and saw there were 2 different types of 2-prong plugs. One is a 10A 125V plug, the other is a 15A 125V plug. Can I use one of these plugs, or do I need something else specifically for a sewing machine? The motor is hard to read, but says 100-110volts, .6 amp. Thank you for the help!

Either should work. However, most plugs readily available are polarized. If you plug it into a wall you will be ok with one. If you are plugging it into the light/motor junction box, you will find one blade won't go in. What I do with that may make an electrician cringe so proceed at your own risk. I just grind down the blade of the new prong to the right shape before I even connect it to the wires. My theory is that these guys were made before polarized plugs and probably don't need them. I would love to hear someone more knowledgeable than me give you an answer.

Okay, thank you. Believe it or not, both of those voltages were for plugs that were NOT polarized. I was surprised to find them, and they were actually called "Lamp" plugs....so maybe lamp plugs aren't polarized...

Leon most Singers don't use the light/motor cord block, it's mostly Japanese machines that use it.

I figured you did. I'm old enough to have those moments too, more often than I care to admit.
