As the name implies, i used jelly rolls. See 4 strips together, random colors. Stagger the ends (like steps) so you don't wafts fabric. Then cut on a 60 degree angle. Join 4 sets of these cuts to make a diamond. The setting is very similar to what you would use for a lone star, just smaller.
