Default One block wonder - two fabrics - up on design board

Merry Christmas everyone!

I got my design board for Christmas, and put it to use already!

Here is my one block wonder (with two fabrics). I'm going to leave it up for a couple of days until I get the pattern to my liking.

Any and all suggestions for layout are more than welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Marion

Congrats on your design board, you will use it a lot.
I really like your layout. I like how the dark fabric looks like a whirlpool.

Your idea is great, but if you want to try another look, start with the lightest block upper left and end with darkest on lower right. Good that you have a photo, as I could never get back to my previous layout once I moved it unless I had a photo!! That is going to be beautiful!!! Love the colors!!!

It is looking good. I am one about balance, and the current layout is really heavy with all the black and all the colored pink blocks between the two black parts in the lower half. I'd love to see those pink flowers on the light background swapped with some in the upper left side as we are sitting looking at it. To me, that center circular area of lighter blocks needs to be the lighter, airier blocks to show more contrast.

Really pretty with just 2 fabricss..... May want to switch out the very center black block with a green one to give the swirl more definition in the middle. You are making great use of design wall. This is exactly it's purpose....To Play!!!
