    Default Quilting Outside the Box

I was reading about quilting outside your comfort zone and decided to share my experience. My dear sister "forced" me to make a very nontraditional quilt. I will admit it is Not my favorite, but it sure was fun to make! I quilted each piece of fabric differently which really added to the fun.

Great quilt and great practice. FMQ takes a lot of practice!

I like the colors, and it looks absolutely fantastic on the bed.

I need to get outside of my comfort zone more, but I will only do it with something smaller than a king-sized quilt! That was really ambitious on your part. Thanks for sharing, I need a little kick in the rear.

I've always liked the brown/black combination. You've done a great job on the quilting too!

A masterful job. I'm not a really big fan of modern quilts but I certainly do like this one.

If you're not accustomed to non-traditional quilts, you sure pulled this one off. It's great and I love all the different quilting.

Terrific quilt! Looks more modern, and the quilting really adds fun dimension with the designs.

I'm not one for stretching either, so I understand. But I must tell you that your quilt is wonderful.
