Have fun! That’s one of the machines I’ve been covetting. I love the Brother manuals- they’re so comprehensive you really don’t need lessons. and thy’re the quietest machines I’ve ever used.

My BFF bought this machine about a month ago and she's just as over the moon about it as you are. I think I've seen her once since she got it, lol, and we used to see each other every week.

Congrats and the best of luck! If and when I shop for a new dm, I am going to bring along a few pieces with "bulky seams".....with various types of fabric. Like three layers of fleece each with open seams lined up, 2 pieces of cotton with flipped out interfaced pieces ( like orange peel-msqc)..... It seems this BL I have will skip over these obstacles....but my old Viking just loves them..and barrels thru with perfect stitches..no skips......hope you have better luck!

The minute I showed it to Jim, he asked me if I wanted one. He loved to support my habit. I don't need one. Mine works fine. How do I convince him that I'd rather spend the $$ on fabric?
