Question Sewcraft machine...what do you know about them?

I have the opportunity to acquire a Sewcraft sewing machine from a family member. What does anyone know about them? Here's a photo of said machine.

No, QuiltNan, I think it's a newer model. I've done online searches and haven't come up with much. It is in a cabinet. Thanks.

I'm going to guess that it is probably a Japanese badged machine. Does it have zig zag?

You may be able to find one that looks like it at http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine...g_Machines.htm or in the Japanese fancy stitches thread here in the vintage section.

If the machine is mostly complete and functioning it probably is a decent machine. Some things are fairly easy to replace or fix... others not so much.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

ETA - check the pictures of machines Vintage Japanese 'Badged' sewing machine with fancy stitches
Vintage Japanese 'Badged' Zig Zag and Straight Sew Sewing Machines

If you find one that looks like the one you can get - you can copy and paste the link. Pictures really do help.
