Default Panel Quilted on my new "shorty"

Luckily, I got this one done before my new short arm and frame started giving me fits. I think I didn't have any trouble with this one because I had a ton of extra fabric and batting all the way around, so it never got near the end of the leaders. (That's my theory.)
I need lots of work on back-tracking and I got lost in some of the spirals, but the babies won't mind.
I always give a quilt to the girls who have babies at my work and as there are a LOT of them, I thought these children's growth charts were a great idea instead of always giving baby quilts. I purchased three different ones, this one, a one of lambs floating on balloons and one of chickens standing on each other's shoulders. Too cute!

(I did do the meander on the lady bug on my DSM.)

such an adorable growth chart. they will have it for years, and be able to use it too. Not like a quilt they outgrow.

This is really cute and a growth chart is a great gift idea. Your quilting looks so good, too!

Love your growth chart.
This will be clear as mud. I kept hitting my clamps so I used heavy duty decoratoe fabric to make two sude clamp extensions. They are 3x6 inches. I pin them to ecah side of my quilt backing them put my clamps onto the end of these extensions. Now I never hit my clamps.
