Spring Quilt Colours
I just finished this quilt which will be washed & dried next. I wish I had made it a block wider in both width and length. It fits a queen bed nicely right now. Now I need to make some shams or perhaps purchase some white pillowcases that fit properly. LOL!
It doesn't feel like Spring here today after having snow fall all morning!
I didn't have a pattern but had fun practicing applique (fussy cut flowers from scrap fabric) and my first attempt at a piano border.

Oh myyyyyy ... that is so luscious and cheery, yet it has something calming about it too!
Ready for spring is good ... even if you do have fresh snow.
It's a perfect pick-me-up to get you through the last of the wintry days!
As a word of warning ... you can keep that snow in the West!!!!!!
And do not need to even think of sending it to the other parts of our fair land.
Our Easter Bunny will not be amused!!!
