Welcome aboard. You have a good start. Now can you shoot the cord input for us?. Maybe something like this https://www.quiltingboard.com/member...22-586584.html

Hi and welcome!
Great suggestion from leonf. I think the Brother company made the sewing machines for JCPenney. You might be able to contact the Brother company and give them the model# and other info from your machine and see if they can help you out. Just a thought anyway. Good luck to you!
Regards,
Kif

Welcome skimchick, I don't think Leon's will work on your machine, as I think the 'legs' going between the pins for your machine aren't as long as his. A picture would help of where it plugs in and the dimensions. I know several look similar or may be the same height and are as wide. While each will fit multiple machines, the plug needs to be the right one. I think Kif is correct and your machine was probably made by Brother. It appears that BL1220 and maybe SL1220 are similar machines.

I'm guessing that https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/fo...-fc-yuk3s.aspx and https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/fo...033770217.aspx would work for your machine. There are a lot of Alternate Part Numbers such as FC-Z, 317353-001, 369263-003, EZ-168A, YUK3SR1, 4C316B, 369263003, 772, 796, 988216-001, 60652 you could see if you could find one of the other numbers would work for your machine or one of the other model 1220s;

Yes. Please send a photo of where the cord fits into your machine. If indeed Brother made them for JC Penney, I may already have a cord for you so you may not have to search. We lost one of mine moving back to Oregon from Texas, and about a week after recieving the new one, guess who found the old one. Lol. So I do have an extra cord that is still brand new. (Used for one week, but new other wise.)
