    Found this pattern about 18 yrs ago in Al Khobar, Saudia Arabia & finally put it to use for my DGD.

    Your pillow is beautiful! Many years ago I did counted cross stitch and could sit for hours doing this craft. Once the quilting bug hit me, I haven't done any cross stitch. I still have all of my patterns and aida fabric and just can't give them away.

    Cheesehead- I did the same thing but then two years ago my middle son got married and I stitched a wedding sampler for them. I had forgotten how much I loved counted cross stitch. But I enjoy quilting even more.

    That's beautiful. Love counted cross stitch. It's my "go to" when watching TV at night.

    The castle is indeed counted cross stitched using 6 strands. I'm willing to learn needlepoint but my quilting gets in the way! Don't know when or if I'll cross stitch again, it was a fluke, really.
