Default New Juki NX7

Well... as I'm pondering a new machine I discover there's a new Juki NX7 coming out mid-July.. just a little peak of it here.. 12" harp space for those who want room to move around!

Will be curious to see how this is equipped and how it's reviewed!

FYI - a sales rep from an online retail dealer called me with this and said it would be $2,999 but they had limited info so far.

Hi Christine!

Although the harp is 12 in. wide, it's only 4.8 in. high. I think I'll stick to my TL2010Q for quilting. Its harp is 9 x 6, so in square inches it's just a bit smaller than the new NX machine, but I think visibility on the TL2010Q is better.

Of course, if you need a machine for its decorative stitches, buttonholes, zig zag, etc., as well as quilting, then the new NX machine might be the answer.

In my case, I also have the HZL-DX7, which has pretty much the same features as the new NX machine, but with a smaller harp. I can use the DX7 for smaller projects and the TL2010Q for large quilts.

I'll certainly be watching for reactions to this new machine.

I agree - would not replace my TL2200qvp mini with the NX for quilting. But will be curious to see the decorative stiches and such on the NX as a complimentary machine.

It seems there's always something new to ohhh and ahhh about

I agree with the above ladies. If I were to look for a new machine it would be a "quilter" machine. I don't have any use for all that other stuff like button holes or zippers.
