Default Unbelievable find

T
this quilt top is listed at my local cl for 30 dollars. Needs a few fixes and to be finished but, wow! Is it just me or is it nuts to find a king sized epp quilt top for 30 bucks? There were several other handmade quilts, ranging in price from 50-200 bucks, beautiful quilts! How can this be? All that work...

i hope im able to get this lovely treasure. I’d like to finish it.

I hope you do get it. Sad that such a treasure has been reduced to a mere 30 bucks .

That reminds me of the afghans that we took eons of hours and tons of yarn to do. Now they are (not) selling at thrift shops for $3 each. I hope you get this quilt. It's beautiful... and certainly deserves to be loved.

So beautifully colorful that it seems almost modern. I hope you get it too.

I hope you get it. I’ve been feeling bad about not going after it. Let us know how it turns out when you get it finished. Hope you can find the right red fabric.

Hope it becomes yours! How sad, but so true.....today antiques and vintage things- like handmade bed quilts - are not on the list of the younger generation.......it's all things IKEA and the like....use it, abuse it, replace it! Just my observation....

This is your lucky day to find such a treasure for such a great price. Beautiful quilt and isn't it sad that someone just tosses this quilt to be donated. Good luck in finishing it and I am sure it will be so enjoyed by you.

I'm guessing someone's grandma passed on, and no one liked the old-fashioned style of the quilt, so they just want to dump it for enough to get lunch money out of it.

I'd grab it up, too!
