Default What Did You Learn Today?

Everyday is another opportunity to learn something new or hone our skills.

I am fortunate that the LQS offers many classes each month. Today was a free class called Wow & How for the Dream EMB machines. There are so many features on these machines that you have to play to learn. The programs are built into the machines so no other software is needed. Today's class focused on two techniques.

I learned how to add stippling around designs and resize as desired. I also learned how to scan in art pages and color them in sections to EMB. Happy Day!

What did you learn today?

I am trying to learn my way around my new iPad. I am writing down all my questions for my tech person on Saturday.

My DREAM machine is the one you played on. I am afraid to go play on one, because I may have to buy it. "smile"

Not sure if I learned anything specific. I usually learn something not real mind blowing usually just small things.

Barb,

I love mine and use it every day. Wait for the preview on the next model on Aug 6th. Limited information right now but the hoop is even bigger and I hear they are even quieter. Fun stuff!

I learned the sheer joy of buying Onesies for my Twosies--my forthcoming grandtwins!

I learned that I can lay out a quilt on-point. It hurt my brain, but I did it. I am a "little engine that could" kind of gal, so I will try again because I think I can, I think I can, I think in can.

Starting today.....I'm learning how expensive back to school clothes shopping for 2 teenagers. My pure enjoyment is watching my credit card melt. LOL!!!! I do this every year for my grandbabies and soooo thankful we are still able to do so.

I learned that it’s best to unroll the quilt on my long arm before taking it off. Check it very carefully to see if it’s quilted all over evenly. Ask me how I learned this !!
