Thank you! I have been letting my white grow out after years of coloring. It's taken a year but it's just about all white now. Some blondish at the tips... from the old color. That will be gone after my next haircut. I'm only 62 but have had white hair for decades, just like my Dad-- who was totally white in his 40's. Love wearing my natural color, finally.

I'm in the growing out process. It looks like it will be the same color it was the last time I let it grow without color. Bright white in the front and steel gray in the back. Though it looks like the back may be lighter this time. I dislike this in between stage, but it can't be rushed. I was born dark haired, then white blonde, then darker blonde as a child. The red (light auburn) showed up at puberty and stayed, though I started graying early. Curious to see if I can leave it this time. I plan on it because I'm tired of the dry ends from coloring. People loved my white hair last time 4 years ago.

Love my white hair! So glad that I dropped coloring it nearly 20 years ago. I just consider it as part of my heritage, so I am proud of it.

When I retired 8 years ago, I also retired from coloring my hair. I have white hair and love it. For me, when the colored hair no longer goes with an aging face, it was time to let go and go with nature.

Mine is gray. I doubt that it will ever be white. My husband has white and it is beautiful. I like the natural look. I have never considered coloring my hair.

I have white hair in the front, buy mixed in the back. A hairdresser told me that mine won't ever be evenly colored, that the darker hair will remain. She seems to be right, as I am in my 80's now.

When I had a gray hair, I would pull it out and scotch tape it to the mirror and let it writhe in agony as a threat to any other hairs that wanted to turn gray. If it would all turn white all at once I would like that, like my Mom.

It didn't work. Now every other hair is a different color. Alas....

I have silver and white and sometimes it just glows. Mine is very pretty and I wear it very short and get compliments all the time. I’m happy with it.

I think white hair or some people looks great. We have several friends with snow white hair and it looks great on them. They have very fair complexions so that may have some bearing on it. DH's hair is a really pretty steel gray. So far, mine is still it's natural brown with only a few gray hairs. I'll be 74 the end of this month and consider myself fortunate I got my father's hair genes instead of my mother's. Her hair turned gray in her 40's.

I think some people are highlighting their hair to get that streaky look.

Some of us are getting it naturally - like it or not!
