Default Good Fortune -- Bonnie Hunter Mystery begins!!

I am very, very happy to see that the new Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt is up and running. I am ready to leave work just to check my fabric to see what I have and what I need. But I will be a good girl and keep working.
I suspect my trick or treating plans will be delayed.... Perhaps this is the year I actually do the quilt.

I love looking at everyone's quilts but I have too many other quilts in the works to do.

So looking at the colors I am thinking of changing some colors up. Is this the place to ask for advise?

Thanks for posting, I totally forgot that the paint chips came out today. Interesting colors. Alot of orange. That will be different. I may have to go with this one. Off to Lowes tomorrow morning.

Sure! You can start your own thread, too. The Quilting Board venue is always a great place to get advise.

I am absolutely changing the colors I use for my quilt. I am going to use black / white /and silver ("and variations there of" yes another DW quote, lol) I am going to follow it a little differently this time too. Usually I keep up or try w/ each clue to the same amount I am planning on (100% or 75% or whatever I decided for that mystery) This time I plan on putting more of myself in it then previous times and any of you that know me (boomers) know I am all about the fussy cutting and the geometrics and never met a stripe I didn't love. So this go round I am going to only do a handful of each clue w/ stand in colors (most likely solids or near solids of black white and grey) until the reveal where I can really see how best to place my geometrics and fussy cuts. This will give me much more work on the back end, but I will be able to work on my great niece and nephews quilts between now and the reveal.

So what are you guys planning on?

I'm undecided about the red, but this is what I've come up with so far. Any suggestions on the red would be appreciated. The floral red is closer to Bonnie's red than the TOT, and has green and gold in it, but I'm not sure about it being the only print in the group. I don't like orange and since that will be predominant, I opted for gold.

I like the colors but I haven’t decided if I am joining this year.
