Default Last mini...I promise...

I made this for my sister who is currently battling cancer with chemo/radiation treatment. The label on the back I wrote, "When it rains, just splash a rainbow"...

The umbrella girl PP (called Singing in the Rain) pattern is from Tartankiwi (Etsy shop) and the design was inspired by another quilter who bought her pattern. I just loved it and immediately thought of my sister. The PP pattern measures 7x11 and the mini measures 13 1/2 X 15 1/2. I started it last night and finished it this morning so super quick project.. I basically cried through the whole thing..Geesh...

So..this is my last mini for awhile as I finish up a couple of quilts for Christmas.. Hope I've inspired you as many of you have inspired me...

Oh so sweet...I hope it brightens your sister's day. I have been there too...thinking about a dear one while sewing a project for them..the tears are cathartic...

So clever to kick the rainbow.

This is exactly what we all strive to create - a piece that is not only visually beautiful but also conveys our hearfelt sentiment to a loved one. You absolutely nailed it with this lovely mini Teen.

Prayers to both you and your sister as she fights her fight.
