Default Buckeye comfort quilt

I am terrible at keeping secrets! So I will share this here, because the recipient is not a member.

One of my best friends was diagnosed a few weeks ago with a rare/ aggressive cancer. She hopes to start chemo next week to slow down disease progression. I still can’t wrap my brain around this.
So, I used up some of my frustration/anger energy making her a quilt for chemo days. She is a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and alum, and I saw this pattern on Pinterest. Easy to replicate. Lots of love and tears in this quilt.
(And I did not see the mistake until I looked at this picture! Too late, she is my quilting buddy, and she will understand! Haha)

I am busy making freezer meals for her husband, and will deliver all in a few days.
Thanks for listening....

I like your quilt and she will love & treasure it... I am a cancer survivor and Know what it's like to do the cemo .
My daughter made the freezer meals for us and it really made it easier for hub and myself... She had notes on each as to how it was to be made, time & pop into oven
