Default 1938 221 singer featherweight - happy dance

Ok, so I went to the Road to California and what do my wondrous eyes see but a gorgeous restored machine. It sews perfectly just as so many of you have said in the past. It’s iridescent purple/ teal in color with chrome plating. It’s perfect for piecing downstairs in the living room with DH watching tv. No more will I need to be holed upstairs in my sewing room. Lol

Wow, that a beauty! You are going to have so much fun.
I love bringing mine downstairs too when I want to be in the center of it all

Nanny, my Mom fell and injured her pelvis. She's in rehab but will come to my house when released. I'm going to bring my FW downstairs so I'm not so far from her. Win win!!

What a find!

Mine lives downstairs in the kitchen and goes into a custom made soft bag to be taken to classes.

Love the color and love those little machines. Just sent my daughter's out to be painted (the finish was really bad) but she chose green.

I have a red one. Her name is Ruby. She is a 1941. I adore her. Also have a black beauty a 1946 named Aunt Gertie.

Love the purple. I have two FWs. One was made in 1933! It's not pretty like yours but it works. :-)
