Default Monkees - Micky Dolenz

Will be 74 on March 8th. My favorite was David Jones, but I like Micky too. He's come a long way since "Circus Boy".

Unbelievable. Where does the time go. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Monkees, but I enjoy a song now when I hear one. I was more into the British Invasion. We go to a venue in IL where they bring in a lot of 60’s groups, or usually a few remaining members of groups. Everyone really looks so old now, but they can still put on a great show.

I was afraid your post was going to say he died! So glad it's not that...

I always liked Mickey and thought he was one of the more talented in that group.

Me too. Have lost quite a few of my teenage years singing idols these past few years. Getting old sucks sometimes! but I still have my albums for nostalgic listening when I need a boost on bad days.

My friends and I liked the Monkees but they were never much on our radar. We were all about the Beatles and Stones I'm still all about the Beatles! I'll love them till the day I die. I have all their music.

When I was a young teen, One of the guys' grandmother lived on the next street over from me, in San Jose. Not exactly bragging rights, but it was close enough for bragging to us.
