Hi

I am doing an artwork from these quilt pieces and I want to know from which decades the pieces are from. The artwork will be in an exhibition with a description of the pieces.

only a guess but 40-50's. If they will be on exhibition, might be more fun to ask the viewers to guess, you'd be less likely of getting it wrong yourself and getting tarred and feathered

I'd agree with Kalama's guess and suggestion. I'd say from the bright colors and the large scale of the prints closer to the 50s, always hard to tell.

I'm no "expert" but I'd say 40's to 50's... I've already been 'corrected' here for calling some feedsacks, 'feedsacks'.

Some may be 30’s, 40’s, 50’s. The last two look more like 70’s or 80’s. I had a tote bag that looked exactly like that second one on the bottom row back in the 80’s- everyone thought it was the ugliest bag ever- I loved it

I was thinking they looked like 70's, but I don't really know much about it. I just remember similar fabrics.

The black plaid and the black/yellow/orange pattern look 70s to me (the plaid looks really, really 70s to me). The top plaid looks early 60s to me. The other two in the top row look older. The last one with the pink/blue/green looks more recent, but doesn't evoke a specific decade in my brain - 70s or 80s?

Sorry, this isn't probably helpful for your purposes, but it's fun to guess.
