Default Spring Twist quilt and almost Rail Fence

A couple years ago Ann (EmiliasNana) gave me a bundle of patriotic fat quarters, saw the matching fabric on sale so ordered a few yards to use as borders and had enough of the fabric with the words to do the backing of the rail fence. Saw the Spring Twist tutorial on MSQC recently so decided to use this fabric for that quilt. The white stars don't show up as much as I thought they would. (Jenny used pastel fabrics with a dark purple for the stars). But glad that I made two quilts for veterans. The rail fence is really goofy, going to blame it on watching the sappy Hallmark movies while I sew lol. Didn't realize they were going every way imaginable til I had it done and started to pin it to quilt it. Know a lot of you would have taken it apart but decided it has character and guess I am lazy. Our guild is showing the veteran quilts members made after the Memorial Day Service at a church which is where the service is.

Nicely done. I Love Patriot quilts. I'm sure they will warm and comfort whomever you gift them to. (Pretty fabrics.)
