Default You all did try to warn me...

I somehow went from picking up my 404 and working on cleaning her up and getting her working(still waiting on the bulb to get here), to somehow buying a pretty but needs work 328 in a really pretty light aqua, to talking with a lady tomorrow trying to re-home a 401A.

They're multiplying like rabbits!

I swear they sneak in through foundation cracks. Welcome to the addiction. The 328 may take an odd needle. Not sure. Turquoise and white machines tug at me even though they are newer than I usually target.

They do tend to do that. I went from deciding to use my mom's old 301a to having 5 vintage machines and one vintage table in a matter of months. I've had to put a moratorium on going to estate sales and buying machines

They draw me in too. I think it's because they remind me of the 1950's cars.

They do seem to find you don't they? Like stray cats. Every time DH and I go to garage sales, I tell him I don't need another machine. Someway, somehow. I come home with one too hard to resist. If it's fairly new and barely used, I pass it on to friends who need machines. If it's a toy or an antique, I find a spot in the house.

Well, glad to know I'm in good company! I honestly didn't expect to get the 348 -- sorry typed that late last night and said 328, but I did get her for less than $11... so while I know I'm going to have to work on it a bit, I'm looking forward to it. After talking with the woman in regards to the 401a, I get the feeling she's trying to get folks to bid against each other to up the price -- and if nothing else I do tend to be frugal. So hoping to focus my efforts on the two girls that may be the start of another sidearm quilting addiction. lol

I have reached a time in my life, I don't have time to sew. I have too many machines to work or play with. And I'm 90. Whew!
