Default Small jelly roll race quilt

Hello ,
Just wondering if anyone has made a smaller jelly roll race quilt. I want to make one with some leftover batiks, use maybe 14 to 16 strips. Some of the strips will be pieced and I am hoping for a wallhanging size. They are all in autumn colors. Any ideas or hints?

The only big suggestion I have, is that you may want to cut your strips in half or smaller, so that your small wall hanging will still have the same random/layered effect as a larger one with longer jelly roll strips.

I agree with LAF2019 cut the strips, What might also add interest is adding a silhouette of leaves, pumpkins or something you think Fall

I recently used some precut jellyroll strips to make a set of twin preemie quilts.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for making any size jelly roll race

I made one with some "leftover" fabric that I wanted the reverse side of a quillow

If you are not working with pre-cut strips, but are cutting your own ...
because of the smaller end size desired, you might consider cutting your strips narrower.
That'd give a more proportionate look of the strips to the smaller quilt.
