Default 10 Minute (Plus) Table Runner

The actual runner part took me about 20 minutes, start to finish. The whole thing took me about 1 1/2 hours with the quilting. I think you could actually do one in 10 minutes once you had it down pat, if you didn't add the batting and want to quilt it.

I added batting and did an Orange Peel FMQ motif through the centre panel and added tassels. I already have fabric set aside to make another. These things could get addicting.

The colour is kind of funny. It is a much richer purple and both fabrics have sparkles. The thread is metallic silver.

If you go to YouTube and look up Jean Truelove, Fast and Easy Quilted Table Runner, all the directions are in the video.

Beautiful, Watson - and love the quilting! I have made a couple (about 3 hours each - just plain with no batting or quilting). Compared to yours, mine looked pretty “meh!” and took twice as long to finish!

Love this. I hope to make a few for small gifts for a fund raiser at my grandaughter's school if I can ever figure out the placement of the batting. Thank you for sharing.

Red face Festive Runner!

Thanks for sharing a photo of your runner. Your tassels add a festive touch. I love your orange peel quilting design. Do you mark the design first and if so, what marking tool do you prefer?

copycat...I mark with chalk on dark fabrics...I forgot to brush it off before I took the picture. I use a bit of batting to brush it off afterwards.
On light fabrics, I use blue water eraseable.

This was a 1" continuous grid, so it went pretty quickly.
