Thanks for all your good wishes today! Kids & hubby have kept me busy all day... I took a nap when I could have been opening all the wonderful pkgs in this box. Oh, my, how wonderful all the charms are. Y'all really out did yourselves. Love the beautiful cards, too!!! Thank You so much.

Good to hear from you Traveling Gramma. Yes, have used so much fabric this year but still have plenty to keep my hands busy and my check book and credit card in my purse. And thanks for the reminder to get our little package ready for our next birthday. With all of this holiday stuff going on we don't want to miss our single January birthday gal. Hey, Swappers. I have good news for us. I was on another thread and saw a sew-a-long for 2.5" squares. Oh my goodness, I just looked at the Debby Brown Sew-a-Long and signed up! She is starting with blocks of 16, 2.5" squares. Each of her blocks are of of a single color way but she said that scrappy would work also. On the first of each month she will publish a new quilt pattern and, oh, I am so excited, she will also give instruction on how to quilt that month's quilt with our domestic machines!!
Sign up is easy and her directions are simple and clear, lots of pictures. Along the way she is also including other info. For January there is a video about color and understanding making color choices. Whoopie, I am in charm square heaven. One quilt a month....perfect. Good-by scraps The January quilt is called Suitable for Framing.
