You'all have been busy....all the projects are beautiful.

Christine...Love the QOV....and your precious visitor...

Rob....fantastic blocks on your BOM. I'm not familiar with that pattern so I'll be looking it up.

Ginger...oh wow...that scrappy is amazing and so much work. Well done.

I woke up to No Electricity!!! For 3 hours....ugh! Then it flickered on/off for the next 2 hours, which means a slow start to sewing. Ended up just cutting fabric for a couple of blocks in my sampler until I felt it stabilize.....I finished 2 blocks, one of which is an EPP block. I'm really taking my time to make sure I don't lose points and blocks finish correct measurement. I'll share pic's tomorrow when light better..

Good luck tomorrow and enjoy!

Good evening everyone, loving the pix of the wonderful finishes. Christine- and that lil precious is a cutie. Well, I have a finished pieced top and bottom of the hunter star. Pieced together in the purple and lilac for the star (top) and purple and black (bottom) in 5.5 squares. I'm ordering my batting and maybe a backing fabric for my holly top that I finished in January.

Everyone enjoy your VQW, and RedGarnet222 your brother is in my prayers

Wow! Everyone’s projects look so wonderful. I haven’t been quilting this weekend but I have been sewing. I made aprons for my daughter and the girls that I babysit. I used an apron I bought at a garage sale to make the pattern. I liked the way they turned out. I’ve attached pictures of two of them.

I finished these up this morning. Trimmed threads this AM, otherwise got the sewing done yesterday. The baby quilts are from Joann Fabrics, they are premade off the bolt, what I call a "cheater" quilt. I feel guilty using them with my skill set of making quilts, but they were quick and easy to put together. I did enjoy doing the crosshatching stitch on these, first time I had done it on a quilt.
Also got some bibdanas done, or another name is drool bibs. They are reversible too. The hospital gift shop I sew for, the director requested bibs. I have made my share of bibs, but don't like the waste when they are curved on the bottom. I searched the web and found the bibdana idea, obviously they are a square, then become a triangle with some cuts to get them to their current shape, but little waste due to original cut being a square. .
Have a great day sewing everyone. Looks like alot of motivation and work is getting done this weekend. I will be checking in periodically today, I really enjoy seeing and reading about what everyone is working on.

Sorry, photos didn't attach correctly first time. I'll eventually get this photo thing figured out, hopefully.

4. make pie for pi day! Yummmmm

Sunday Morning check in:
1. almost finished. Should be done including the label today!
2. will have to adjust total number of 5" squares down to a billion for this week-end.
3. worked on this some yesterday and should make some more progress. Adjust project to getting envelopes ready. Doable!
4. Made the pie, delivered to my son, an hour and a half away, topped off with an evening of good family time together.

Hoping to finish the two quilts I started in classes I took at Mountain Quiltfest last week in Pigeon Forge. Since I am 77 and in poor health, I am not going out if I don't have to.
