Default Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt

I see that Bonnie posted the introduction for her Winter Mystery Quilt and wonder if anyone is able to start the thread here. I'm totally technology handicapped but have loved to follow along with all of your choices, tips and finishes.

Carol, I sent a message to PatriceJ about starting a thread; I believe we need permission to start one in the Projects and Challenges forum, which is where it has been the past few years. I'll be happy to start it once we get the ok.

I was just going to ask the same thing. Bonnie posted her colors today. Grassy Creek Mystery. I hope we have a group here this year, too.

Thanks for letting us know. I collect the patterns but have not had the time needed to jump in and sew. Maybe this time???

I'm planning on joining in again this year, but with a more planned and easier group of fabrics this year. I'm trying to clear up some other projects first so I can be ready to go.

I'm a big believer in pressing my seams open for a lot of reasons and don't plan on changing, but I'm going to follow her instructions to do the side folded seams. At least I'm going to start out that way.

I'll go update my book mark to her site in a moment, and would love to join the thread here when it comes up.

PS: Yes, my Frolic top was completed but it still has not been quilted. Think it might have a home now and it is moving up on the priority list.

I'll save the pattern as it comes out. I signed up for the Krista Moser quilt along starting soon. I wanted something different then small scrap pieces this year. I like following and seeing all the different fabric colors used in the mystery quilt.

Patrice has given the go ahead, so I will plan to get the thread up tonight, in the QuiltingBoard Challenges and Contests forum. See you there!

I submitted the thread, but possibly it has to be approved before it appears?
