I watched the documentary about him this summer. It was/is shameful how his name was used for profit but not for Bob Ross. I honestly felt guilty after buying the "Bob Ross" fabric for my grandson's pillow case knowing that the profit would not benefit his estate only the pockets of those who took advantage of his popularity.

The old shows are amazing. And Bob Ross was right. His son really is even a better painter than he was. I highly recommend the documentary mentioned above. The story of what happened to Bob Ross’s son after Bob Ross’s death is heartbreaking. He had done everything so that his son could also benefit. I wish that they would get his son to make some painting shows.

Has everyone seen the Cherrywood Fabrics Bob Ross show? I think the quilts were made in 2020. Don't know if they are on the Cherrywood website, but I remember getting an email about them last year. Awesome how people transformed his paintings into quilts.

If you want a Bob Ross fix whenever, there is a Bob Ross channel on twitch.tv.

oh dear this is really going to date me, before Bob Ross I watched Bill Alexander; I got two or 3 of his books his majice white and several tubes of paint. I did a painting for every one in my family, and my bestie. going back to the 70s and early 80s
does any one else remember Bill?

It looks like the documentary is available on Netfix - it says about an hour and a half long. YouTube has what is labeled as the "full documentary" but it's only an hour long. So there are some options, even if you don't have Netflix, to see a lot of it.
YouTube also has a Bob Ross channel.

I'm planning to watch the documentary, although it sounds like I won't be happy with the ending.

I can't stream and seldom can get a youtube to load. Outside the big cities a lot of the world doesn't have the connectivity to just watch something I was going to try zooming this year, the soonest I've ever been able to connect was after it was in progress for 7 minutes and by then I was locked out. the other times I tried it took even longer.

Anyway, back to Bob, there are Ross trained teachers all over, I think when Rob works out our camping places next year I'll set up a class for us, how fun is that? Why not, I say!

I love to watch Bob Ross. So sorry the Vultures are always pouncing on innocent people to take away what they worked for.
With all the other laws we have one more wouldn't hurt.
