Never had Okra I know it is used in Gumbo that's about all I know.

Isn't this interesting? I have been buying this for my DH's Aunts. I just had to go get them 4 more jars. They love the stuff. I had never heard of it before. So far they have gone through about 10 jars in the last year.

i don't like it pickled or boiled, but just love love it breaded in cornmeal and fried with some onion. this is a favorite side dish in Texas.

Just a thought Leota when if you would make it into relish?????? I make every veggie you could think of into relish. Let me know if you want the recipe!!!!!!!
