Yesterday I got the ditch and framing quilting done on 8 of the stars in the Snail's Trail Al Fresco quilt. Today I want to get the remaining 10 done, so I can decide what to do with the rest of the quilt. I'm using our very own Cat-on-a-Mac's version of this quilt for inspiration as I decide how to quilt the various parts of mine. Here's a link to her version: https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...7-img_1010.jpg

That's a gorgeous quilt, Rob.
RRBrat, love your memory bear. Looks like he is wearing the shirt.
Not sure what I will work on today since I have finished my Aunt Daisy double flying geese blocks, and have finished all the children's clothes for now. I'll probably make Boom blocks for the current swap, ongoing.

I completed one block and have another laid out to finish. This block is giving me a bit of trouble I will conquer it one way or another and I may take me another day to get it figured out <sigh>. The blocks I am working for this weekend are from the QAL that I started before I got COVID. I am determined to finish this quilt! I could take me another month or so but I will get it done.

Connie - I love the way you framed the string blocks. I'm always looking for ways to use strings!

Rob - The example of the snail trail quilt is beautiful. It's going to be fun to see what you do with yours!

Here's my kids quilt quilted (no binding yet). And a bunch of churn dash blocks.

Cording is finished on the last of these five jelly roll rugs. It feels good to have accomplished it this weekend.

I didn't get much work done on my closet, but I did FMQ the wedding quilt. Only one side to go and I'm using big swirls so it won't take long. The winds have reached Michigan - my power went out briefly. I'm shutting the computer down - it's elderly and won't survive a hit.

Great seeing and hearing the progress every one has made this weekend. I love that I can tag along and be motivated and focused to make progress on this unfinished project.

Finished the scrappy border today. Next I need to figure out what to do for the backing. I have two yards of fabric I can use. The quilt top finished at 44x56. So I’m thinking I might piece a simple column to run horizontally.

I only got 4 of the wedding ring blocks completely done. Tired of those and switched to log cabin blocks. I cut fabrics and made 8 of those. We still have tomorrow to accomplish more. I better get my butt in gear

Didn't get as much as I wanted done, something about it's nice out lets take a walk. MN in February and it's over 40, you have to get outside! I did get the black border on, took me a while to find a large enough piece of black. My stash on some colors is getting a little low!

I have the gray sized so that I can attach and miter the border. I have one of the church quilts pined and ready to sew also. So now it's time to watch a movie with DH and start sewing again tomorrow.
