    Default Walkabout Quilt pattern

    Looking at Walkabout Quilt pattern, considering it, my fabric is very busy..has anyone made one? Trying to find out how large the blocks are..hoping to keep them at 10”, to make best use of my print

    The finished block size is 10 x10, I have made 2 of them for my sons. They are both the lap size which is 61 x 61. The first picture is quilt finished for my son who loves trains and is an engineer for Burlington Northern. The second was for my younger son who is a computer programmer and loves Dr. Who.

    I just made one for my granddaughters. I made a queen and had to add a wider border on top and bottom because it is a square quilt when finished. I used a busy fabric for the squares and plain for the v's. I like it even though I lost some of the points. Don't know how to attach a picture or I would.

    Thanks for everyone’s replies..exactly what I was trying to learn, the size of the blocks..think that will work perfectly fir my fabric

    Wow I like that pattern ! Never saw it before. I always want to show some large scale and not cut it up.
