    Forego the batting, and just back with fleece or flannel.

    I agree about Quilter's Dream Request. It's beautiful, soft, thin, and lightweight.

    I would make it into a summer quilt with no batting. I did this with a Cal. King quilt top & it is the perfect year round quilt for my bed. Also, the nice thing about no batting is that you can quilt it however you want because you don't have batting inside that will bunch up if you quilt too far apart.
