I’m working on one right now that is all scrappy blues with white on white background. The center part is 48 x 64. I think the borders will add another 10” to each side. The outer border is going to be pieces like the top half of the Star in the sorta center.

I think having lots of variety is the key. Variety of values and textures. If you have that it will be fine.

My nephew and his girlfriend are expecting a baby in the fall. Her favorite color is beige and she absolutely doesn't want blue. So I've been thinking about about beige on beige quilts. I am considering a "Supernova" quilt: https://confessionsofafabricaddict.b...return-of.html
