Congratulations, Dotty!

Dotty led a group of us in a fun sew-along for this sampler a couple of years ago. It was my first sampler. I loved working on the blocks, but I slowed to a crawl on the sashing part and am still working on putting mine together. Well done, Dotty!

Oh, I love it! Beautifully done in a fresh, modern colorway. Congratulations and thank you for sharing.

Default Harriet's Journey

Congratulations Dotty. I was just wondering if any one else had finished this sew along. So pleased to see your finish and WIN. Impressive piece of work.

Just as a little bit of encouragement, Linda. You do not need to make all of the blocks. I made a variation using fewer sampler blocks and in a different lay out repeating one of the blocks (48) to create an illusion of rows. It really is on-point. It is one of the examples in the book.

Fantastic quilt! Congratulations on your well-deserved accolades. It's obvious that a lot of work and care went into making this wonderful quilt.

I love your choice of fabrics! Well deserved award. I'm happy you were able to post the photo. Did you stitch in the ditch for the quilting?

Congratulations Dotty! That is wonderful. That was such a fun project. I've been scouting for another one like it. Samplers are the best.
