Default My Quilts so far

I am new to this forum and to Quilting.
These are my quilts so far:

First Quilt - for a baby to lie on the floor.
The problems were that I got caught up in the fabric I wanted and the fabric that was available. It turned out nothing like what I wanted. I also didn’t do a patch layout so when it came to quilting it it was impossible. What a disaster but I gave it away to a baby and it was appreciated.

Second Quilt – throw rug size.
I used Zen Chic contrasting Quilt as a template but decided (foolishly) to make it the Sydney, Australia skyline. This ruined the whole thing as no one can identify the outline and it just looks unbalanced.

Third Quilt – throw rug size.
I used this collage picture as a pattern for the quilt (on the left) and after much youtubing to work out how to turn it into a quilt and I think it turned out pretty well. But I think it was too "neat" but that is what my DIL wanted. (I could have had lace and things looking like surf.)

I think all of your quilts are great. 3 different looks but all look well done. Sometimes we get too critical of our own work.

I may have tackled your first quilt as a beginner but would not have even thought of attempting the second and third. You rock! I look forward to seeing what comes next in your quilting adventures!

I like them all, even the baby quilt. You have a great eye for color and placement. Thanks for the eye candy.

Your quilts are all very nice! The patchwork quilt turned out great, perfect for a little one. I belong to a quilt guild and we make a lot of patchwork, scrappy quilts. People love them and they keep them warm no matter what they look like.

Good for you!!! Your quilts have originality and whimsy. Good color choices, too. Looking forward to what you do next!

I too like all your quilts, but the seascape is my favourite. Is it all pieced or is any of it appliquéd?
