    Default Kwik Clip Tool

Kwik clip is the tool for closing safety pins. I also use it to push out corners.
They have a smaller and less expensive variety

I own 2 of these, and they’re wonderful. Very sturdy and easy on the joints.

I also use them to punch out the paper seals in supplement bottles and the perforations in kleenex boxes, since my nails are thin. 😆

    hugs, charlotte

I bought one years ago when Eleanor Burns used one on her quilt show. Still have it. Also have the safety pin covers of the same brand. I noticed the covers are making a comeback having been remarketed and are attached to the pins. The older one are much better quality.

There's always something new to learn here. First pinmoors, now KwikClip. Wow, my life is changing!

I seem to recall the original company that made Kwik Clip and the pin covers shut down due to the cost of having the pin covers produced. Guessing the design was purchased but whoever owns the rights now isn't using the same material or manufacturing facility/process.

(ETA found the discussion here Kwik-klip has gone out of business. Interesting that the old Paula Jean Creations website shows Eleanor Burns' Quilt in a Day as the customer service e-mail. I guess that's who bought the rights to the design files.)

I have a hoard of the original pin covers that I bought when the original company was shutting down production.
