Default My most complicated quilt top

The pattern is called Safe Harbor, and it was quite a challenge, The pattern was designed for a specific line of batiks that doesn't exist any longer. I tried to choose fabrics with the intensity of the ones shown on the pattern, but I couldn't be sure which was which. The cutting instructions turned out to be wrong on several counts. The assembly instructions were hard to follow, and the shading of the sample blocks didn't always agree with the colors of the fabric. I really struggled with the instructions, and I thought for a while that I would never figure it out. In the end, I did, and I'm really quite pleased with the result. If I ever make another like it, which I doubt, I know I could do a better job choosing fabric. It finished at about 62x78. I will quilt it in the spring when I return home.

Great job. Kudos to you for working your way through a difficult pattern. It is frustrating when not well written.

Just gorgeous and reminds me of a tile floor. Great job figuring out the pattern!

With so many fabrics in the same color tones i can undersand your problems with it. But it turned out great and I like the design of it.
