Another quilt top completed

I know I'm not the only on that wishes spring could stay around all year. The cooler temps and beautiful colors in nature make my little ole heart go pitter-pat. The quilt top below was made using a block I designed way back in the wintertime while longing for warmer weather. I named the block "Back Porch Blooms" The idea for the border came from the many quilters that commented on my Podunk Posy quilt that you can find here http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...y-t279815.html Most of the fabrics in this quilt are Pam Kitty or Holly Holderman, except for the blue border fabric it's by Bonnie and Camille. This is my 3rd quilt design using this block and I'm looking forward to making at least one more...possibly 2.

Beautiful! I love spring too, but fall is my favorite season. Love your quilt!

That is just too cute! You are very talented! I can follow patterns but never tried to design a quilt. Good job!

That quilt came out so adorable especially with the fabric you used. Where i live, it seems that it is going to be summer for at least the four months! Fall or Winter can't come soon enough for me!
