    Default St. George Utah

Are there any QB members in the St. George, Utah area? I am contemplating moving there in 2025 from Minnesota. I have checked out the area and been to one quilt shop when I was there in November. My daughter and her family are purchasing a home there and I love that area.

I do not live anywhere close to there. But my SIL and I have gone to a quilt retreat there several times. I also love the area. And Superior Threads is in that town. We went there too. That was before the thread company and fabric company separated. Hope you get to move there. It is beautiful.

I used to live outside Salt Lake City and was thru St George many times years ago. I always thought it was a wonderful area. I have to say that in my time in Utah, I really enjoyed the people. I was doing a lot of crochet then and found the cutest little yarn shop. The ladies there were so nice and helpful to me in picking out my yarn. I hope you enjoy your stay there as much as I did.

I used to live in Utah. St. George is a nice area, but it is hotter than hockey sticks in the summer. Temps above 100 are normal, and 110 isn’t unusual. No matter how dry it is, that is HOT! We have stayed in the area in the winter, but I don’t stop in the summer. There are a few nice quilt shops including Fab Fabrics that used to be part of Superior Threads. And of course Superior Threads is a fabulous place. They used to let you wander through their stock and fill you own basket, but has stopped a few years back.
